Title: Matilda
Author: Roald Dahl

1. Matilda is the youngest child, and only daughter, of Harry and Zinia Wormwood, who are described as living "in a very nice neighborhood in a very nice house", but not being very nice people. Mr. Wormwood is a used car salesman with the police tracking his every move, and Mrs. Wormwood is obsessed with bingo parlors and television game shows. Both parents are extremely neglectful of their little six-and-one-half year old daughter, even though she shows signs of amazing intelligence and various remarkable powers. Eventually, Mr. Wormwood notices his daughter long enough to send her off to Crunchem Hall, an elementary school lorded over by the ogre-like Miss Trunchbull, whose motto is "Use the rod, beat the child." She practices what she preaches, taking delight in punishing her charges and informing them mercilessly that her idea of a perfect school is one where there are no children. Fortunately for Matilda, her first grade teacher, Miss Honey, is kind and good- hearted, and immediately recognizes her new student's amazing gifts.

2.
i. Miss Honey: Miss Honey is kind-hearted because she do not scold children for no reason and she talks to them nicely.

ii. Miss Trunchbull: Miss Trunchbull is a harsh, cruel educator and tyrant because she treats children badly and calls them names.

3. The phrase is' A rose by any other name will smell as sweet'. I learnt that it is the thing itself that matters and not what it is called.

Title: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Author: Roald Dahl

1. The story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory follows the tale of a young boy living in a tiny, very humble home, with his loving parents and four grandparents. Charlie Bucket lives near the giant and mystical Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory, where Charlie's Grandpa Joe once worked, but also which no one has seen the inside of for many, many years. No one even knows for sure what Wonka looks like any more or who, in fact, is helping him to make all that candy. One day Wonka announces that he will be enclosing five golden tickets within the wrappers of his own Wonka Chocolate bars. The result is a mad dash around the world to locate these tickets. Charlie, who only gets a Wonka bar once a year on his birthday, knows his chances is limited, but he holds out hope and, low and behold, young Charlie finally does land the shiny, gold ticket. His Grandpa Joe accompanies Charlie on the magical journey through the factory that is the envy of just about every other child in the world. The other children include Augustus Gloop , Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde and Mike Teavee .

2)
i. Mr Willy Wonka: He is old but filled with a boundless energy. He is physically small, but his persona is larger than life. He is also both charming and insensitive. His decision to open his factory to five lucky children is actually a calculated ploy to find the perfect child to take over his factory.

ii.Charlie is unassuming and respectful toward everyone in his life. He is undernourished but refuses to ever take an extra portion of food because it would deprive another member of his family.

3) The phrase is' A friend in need is a friend indeed'. I learnt that a real friend is one who stays by your side to help you even if you are in trouble.

The man soon found out and wanted to nab the boy.Fortunately, the boy defeated the man and soon became the owner if the workshop that belongs to the man. After that, the boy used the power to do good things for other people.

2. About the boy:The boy is very smart because he was able to trick the man and soon defeated him. He is kind-hearted as he will be using the powers to do good things. The boy is also brave because he was not afraid that the man would do something bad to him.

About the man:The man is cruel and evil because he wanted to use his power to do bad things to other people.

3. The phrase is 'A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush'. I learnt that it is better to keep what one possesses instead of trying to get something better which one does not have.
