Title: BFG
Author: Roald Dahl
1. The plot follows a little orphan girl named Sophie. One night she got out of bed to look out the window. Outside, she saw this BIG BLACK... THING! Whatever it was, it was twice as tall as the orphanage – and it was a big orphanage! From across the street, the thing grabbed Sophie and ran faster and faster! Finally it reached its home and set Sophie on the table. He was big and friendly and, well, a GIANT but BFG wasn't going to eat her. Sophie then learned that there are other ghastly giants, three times the size of BFG, that go on eating children every night!
2. i) The Giant: The giant is unlike other giants and he is very friendly because he does not eat children every night.
ii) The other giants: They are horrible and cruel because they feed on children every night. They are also very large as they are three times bigger than the friendly giant.
3. The phrase is 'The pen is mightier than the sword'. I learnt that knowledge is more useful and powerful than strength.
